First haircut

Last Satuday, October 17th, we took Thomas to have his first haircut. We wanted to wait untill he's a little older, but we just couldn't see him like that anymore. His hair was so "out of control", and he kept pulling it all the time. I know we could've done that at home, but I was afraid to mess up his first cut...lol... So we decided to take him to the salon.

At first, he was kind of wondering what was happening...

And he would give that "not so sure" look...

Looking at the other people...

Then he realized that something was about to happen to him...

And total meltdown...

He was very upset about the whole thing...

At the end, he just wanted to get out of there.

So sorry, our little guy! Hope you enjoy your new look after all you had to go through.

Time out...

Thomas has been really, really active these days. He does things that surprises me. His favorite thing to do after his breakfast is get inside the kitchen cabinet, and he takes everything out. I don't really care, at least it keeps him busy while I'm trying to clean up. Then I tell him "vamos guardar agora?"(let's put it away now?),and he says "guada" ... so cute!!! He helps me to put everything back in its place.

But one of these evenings he was just out of control. I was trying to make dinner, and he was throwing everything on the floor. He opened a drawer and just started taking things out. So I decided to put him in "time out"... inside the drawer...lol... that was the funniest thing for him. He didn't even want to come out  for a while. Funny boy! He surprises us everyday. He always come up with something new to make us laugh.

And there is no sweeter moment than watching him sleep. So peaceful. We love everything about him.
