We had so much fun in our camping trip to Wallowa Lake in Oregon. We arrived at the Lake on Saturday evening (June 20th) after 12 hours drive... The road was pretty boring, one straight line in the desert... but the hours go by really fast when you are trying to entertain a 9month old most part of the trip.
Anyway, we met Joel's parents there. They drove their awesome trailer from Forks, WA to Wallowa and they arrived before us.
The weather wasn't very nice the next day. Actually, it rained all day long on Sunday. On Monday we went to Joseph, a small historic town. It was really fun. We took pictures, had lunch, shopped for souveniers... and back to the Lake.
Joel, his Stepdad and the kids wanted to go fishing. By the time we got to the water Thomas was already asleep in his stroller and he missed Dad's catch.
On Tuesday was a nice day, starting to get warm. Joel and the kids went in the bump/water boat (whatever the name is)... and they also raced cars... it was really fun to watch.
On Wednesday, all of us did the tram to the top of the Summit...soooo windy up there!!! But it was worth it. Such an amazing view.
Thursday and Friday we just walked around, did the bump/water boat again, did some more shopping... had some ice cream... lots of fun.
Saturday we headed home. Boring road again...and finally home.

That sounds like a fun trip, except for the 12 hours bit. Entertaining a little one can make the time go faster or seem to stop all together. The first time we took Bailey to Utah we made a lot of stops but that made it more fun if very tiring. It looks like a beautiful place you were at.
